Parents play an important role in the school community at Friends Academy. Not only are they active in the Parent Teacher Organization, they also contribute to the life of the school in other significant ways. Whether chaperoning a trip to the Franklin Institute, helping with a holiday party, reading to a group of Kindergarten children, or helping to raise funds for their student's eighth grade trip to Williamsburg, parents are always welcomed and valued.

Perhaps most important, Friends Academy recognizes the vital role parents play as role models and educators. We value input from every parent regarding curriculum, after-school activities, and school policies and procedures. Parents are always viewed as partners in the educational process as we work together to build a solid academic foundation from which each student can grow and prosper.
