At Friends Academy, we lay the groundwork so that our students develop a life-long passion for learning! Accordingly, students are challenged with a rigorous academic curriculum that develops strong critical thinking skills in all subject areas.

Classroom discussions and independent projects encourage students to be active learners. Written communication skills are enhanced through a program that emphasizes both creative and research writing, while our oral communication program stresses public speaking and interpersonal skills.

In addition to the traditional academic program, our curriculum also includes: art, computer instruction, foreign language, health, music, physical education, and Quaker studies.
